IDEAS began in 2010 by the Gifford Foundation, Central New York Community Foundation, Allyn Foundation, Dorothy and Marshall M. Reisman Foundation, John Ben Snow Foundation, and the Trust for Cultural Resources of Onondaga County, with support from the County of Onondaga.
