NEWS: New York State Senators secure $1 million for CNY Arts initiatives
CNY Arts announced today that it has been awarded $1,000,000 for Statewide Community Regrants (SCR) and capacity enhancement initiatives. The funds were secured through a New York State Senate Initiative and are being awarded through the New York State Council on the Arts.
Syracuse University Department of Drama opens the 2022/2023 season with ‘Sweet Charity’
The Syracuse University Department of Drama begins the 2022/2023 season on Oct. 15. The season kicks off with the popular musical “Sweet Charity” (Oct.15 – 23) directed by David Lowenstein, choreographed by Kira Schmidt-Carper, with musical direction by Brian Cimmet.

This program provides one-time cash grants of $1,000 to New York State artists with a disability who reside outside of the five boroughs of NYC and have experienced financial hardship due to the COVID-19 crisis to cover art related expenses. Applications are open now through November 1, 2022.
Applications Now Open for Final Round of Funding

CNY Arts is accepting applications for a final round of funding through the City of Syracuse Arts & Culture Recovery Fund. Priority for this grant will be given to individual artists, musicians, performers, teaching artists, folk artists, and sole proprietors who have suffered financial losses during the pandemic.
SUNY Oswego Now Accepting Applications for 2023 Spring Semester Artist-in-Residence Program
The Artist-in-Residence Program at SUNY Oswego brings an artist to campus for one academic semester (Spring 2023 semester) to produce a body of work, teach in the area of their specialty, and to conduct research.
Applications are due August 31, 2022 by midnight.
