Syracuse, New York – CNY Arts recently announced $510,000 in grant awards, made possible by the Statewide Community Regrant (SCR) program.

CNY Arts announced today that it has been awarded $1,000,000 for Statewide Community Regrants (SCR) and capacity enhancement initiatives. The funds were secured through a New York State Senate Initiative and are being awarded through the New York State Council on the Arts.

The Syracuse University Department of Drama begins the 2022/2023 season on Oct. 15. The season kicks off with the popular musical “Sweet Charity” (Oct.15 – 23) directed by David Lowenstein, choreographed by Kira Schmidt-Carper, with musical direction by Brian Cimmet.

A Call for Artists and Muralists - Request for Proposals (RFP) for Syracuse Community Health Center (SCHC) - Public Arts Initiative

This program provides one-time cash grants of $1,000 to New York State artists with a disability who reside outside of the five boroughs of NYC and have experienced financial hardship due to the COVID-19 crisis to cover art related expenses. Applications are open now through November 1, 2022.
