CNY Fiber Artists and Producers, Inc.

CNY Fiber Artists and Producers is a unique sort of fiber guild that welcomes both farmers who raise fiber animals (sheep, Angora and cashmere goats, llamas, alpacas, and Angora rabbits) and fiber artists who spin, knit, crochet, weave, dye, and felt. The group seeks to help the public understand the connection between fiber animals and the beautiful and practical things that can be made from natural fibers. Through our annual Fiber Arts Festival, we showcase an underserved artistic discipline to the public and bring its practitioners together. Our family-friendly event serves to educate and inspire current and future fiber artists, while providing a venue for the marketing of fiber artwork.
