Broadway Theatre League of Utica is excited to present FAME Jr. at Mohawk Valley Community College on Friday, July 25th at 5:00 PM. This dynamic production will be the culmination of our STAGE READY Summer Intensive Camp, a two-week experience led by various instructors and FAME Jr. directed by Dennis J. Clark. Designed for students aged 12-18, the camp runs Monday through Friday from July 14th to July 25th, offering participants the opportunity to bring this iconic musical to life in a public performance.

Week 1 will be held at Tabernacle Church where we will start the audition process, set design, marketing, choreography and more.

Week 2 will be held at MVCC at Schafer Theatre and will consist of several dress rehearsals and preparation for our performance on Friday, July 25th at 5:00pm.

The camp is not limited to aspiring actors. In addition to filling acting roles, Broadway Utica invites students with interests in stage management, sound and lighting, set design, hair and makeup, costumes, social media, public relations, and more. Participants will gain hands-on experience and learn the behind-the-scenes elements that make a production possible. For those interested in non-acting roles, we offer a one-week option to explore the technical and creative aspects of theatre. The cost for the full two weeks is $399. *one week option are available for $220 for all non performance roles.
