Everyone can draw, and the more you practice the better your skills become. Drawing not only improves your skills, it transforms the way you see and interpret the world around you. We are now offering two opportunities for you to practice your drawing skills every Thursday. These free classes are open to anyone with a desire to draw — any age, any level. All materials are supplied. Limit 6 students.* Registration not required (at this time) but feel free to call and confirm your spot.

Explore drawing exercises, techniques and styles from a different artist or book from our resource library each week. As we practice and share these ideas you will learn to improve and develop your own unique style. All materials are provided including paper and your choice of drawing tools, such as different grades of graphite pencils, charcoal and pen. This class is made possible through funding received from the John Ben Snow Memorial Trust.

About the instructor: Ann Buchau is a multi-disciplined active artist with a BA in Studio Art & Business and an MA in Advertising Design. She lives in Pulaski and works from her home studio painting, drawing and creating functional and sculptural forms from clay – as well as teaching yoga.

*Indoor classes are limited to 6 people to maintain six-foot social distancing. Masks are required and safety guidelines will be followed, including disinfecting tools and common areas before and after each class. If you are taking a class with an individual from your family, you may sit together at one station, and in that case, we may accept more than six people.
