One of the great things about this event is we have a paddling distance that fits all levels and experience levels! There are 4 launch sites to choose from all within the Old Erie Canal State Historic Park:*8 am Cedar Bay Launch - this is a 9.5 mile paddle in the Old Erie Canal State Historic Park to Chittenango Landing *9 am Manlius Center Launch - from this launch it is a 7.2 mile paddle in the Old Erie Canal State Historic Park to Chittenango Landing Museum *11 am Poolsbrook Launch - this is a 3.2 mile paddle in the Old Erie Canal State Historic Park to Chittenango Landing Museum *11 am Chittenango Landing launch - this second 11 am launch option is right at Chittenango Landing Museum and allows an out-and-back paddle option for paddlers looking for a simple way to paddle and explore and participate in this event!ALL paddlers, no matter which launch you launch from, end right at Chittenango Landing Museum at the Boat Float Festival for food, music, and fun!! We have timed the launch times so that the average paddler from each of these launches will arrive at about 12:30 pm - which is when our drone photo will take place!
