It's once again time for our favorite event of the year! Bring the whole family and help us welcome summer with food, music, and (of course) books. At 5:30 pm, we will start serving vanilla ice cream, strawberry compote, and fruit popsicles (for a non-dairy option). Don’t forget to grab a raffle ticket on your way in for a chance to win a strawberry-themed prize basket (1 ticket per person). At 6:00 pm, we will have a live musical performance by The Jess Novak Band! Chairs will be provided, but you may bring your own lawn chairs and blankets to kick back and relax on the lawn. Or decorate the sidewalks around our lawn with our sidewalk chalk while you groove!
In addition to free food and entertainment, we will also have a used book sale taking over half of the library! Please bring cash and a reusable bag if you plan to do some shopping. Stop by the button-making station in the library to make yourself a strawberry, dinosaur, or book-themed button to take home as a memento. And that’s not all! Round out an evening at the library by registering for our summer reading program: fun activities and challenges for readers of all ages.
About the Band: The Jess Novak Band is a pop, rock, soul group out of Syracuse, NY that mixes choice covers with soulful originals to engage any crowd.
