SU Brass Ensemble Concert
The
Syracuse University Brass Ensemble (SUBE) will be returning to
Fayetteville with a free, public concert on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 3
p.m. The performance will be held at the United Presbyterian Church,
located at 310 E Genesee St, Fayetteville, NY, and promises an afternoon
of exciting brass music.Under
the direction of Dr. James T. Spencer and Craig Elwood, the Syracuse
University Brass Ensemble features some of Central New York’s finest
brass and percussion musicians—including faculty, staff, alumni, and
students from Syracuse University, alongside talented community members.Known
for their rich sound and dynamic performances, SUBE’s repertoire blends
classical masterworks, familiar scores from film and TV, and stirring
patriotic selections that showcase the warmth, power, and versatility of
brass music.This
event is part of the ensemble’s community outreach mission to bring
high-quality musical experiences to audiences throughout the region. All
are welcome, and admission is free. A free-will offering will be
