Pack a blanket or lawn chair and join The Art Thing Collaborative for Willow outdoors on the big screen at Tutty Field in Mohawk.


Willow (1988) is a sweeping fantasy adventure about a humble farmer who becomes an unlikely hero when he sets out to protect a magical child from an evil queen. We hope you will join us for this vintage blast from the past!!!


This family-friendly community screening is part of The REEL Thing: A Free Outdoor Movie Series Along the Canal, traveling across five canal towns in Herkimer County. We’re bringing movies back to the way they’re meant to be experienced: together, under the summer sky, with neighbors, families, friends, and kids of all ages.


All screenings are FREE and open to the public!

Think you can make it to all five movies? Anyone who attends all five screenings will become an honorary member of The REEL Thing Club and receive a special series award at the end of the summer.

Whether you grew up with Willow or are seeing it for the first time, come enjoy a relaxed night of adventure, imagination, and big-screen movie magic.

Expect community spotlight moments, free popcorn while supplies last, subtitles for accessibility, and that shared moviegoing feeling we don’t get enough of anymore.
