Winter cold is here, but get ready to feel the heat! On Saturday, December 14 New York State Blues Hall of Fame singer/songwriter Willa Vincitore and her scorching-hot band, Willa & Company, will electrify the stage at Unity Hall. Performing for the first time in our area, this Hudson Valley singer is bound to blow the roof off with her powerful vocals and exceptional musicians. If you loved the performance by Rochester singer, Danielle Ponder a few years back, you won’t want to miss this show! Unity Hall is partnering with the Mohawk Valley Blues Society for this special concert that will take place at 8PM in the Hall’s historic theater.

Willa Vincitore’s songwriting and performances bring an eclectic mix of blues, soul, rock, funk and (occasionally) pop, but there’s one thing that ties it all together—that voice. Bill Wilson, of the blog Reflections in Blue, said, "Willa Vincitore has one of those voices that will stay with you for life. Good, even great, vocalists are a dime a dozen...but every now and then, someone comes along who brings everything back into perspective in a big way.”

Willa has been building a fan base across the Hudson Valley since the mid 1990s and was inducted into the NY State Blues Hall of Fame in 2018. Her debut CD, Better Days, was critically acclaimed by reviewers around the globe. The Blues and Roots Music Report listed it as one of the Top 50 Contemporary Blues releases of 2017. Her sophomore release, Choices, showcased her eclectic songwriting, digging deeper lyrically and rejecting classification in any one genre. In 2020 she began releasing digital singles and all of her music, including her albums Better Days(2017) and Choices (2019), can be found on Spotify.

Unity Hall offers an intimate concert experience. Seating is limited and shows sell out fast. Tickets are $30 at www.unityhall.com and the Adirondack Cheese Company on Rt. 12 in Barneveld.
