The Museum is offering gingerbread workshops for children and families at 11a.m. and 1 p.m. December 14, 28, and 30. Participants in this event learn how to make gingerbread house-like creations to take home using milk cartons, graham crackers, icing, and a variety of edible decorations. Admission is $8per child for Museum members and $12 per child for non-members, and includes all materials and admission to the Gingerbread Gallery. The third annual Gingerbread Build +Sip at the Museum takes place on Wednesday, December 11 from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. This creative event features stations with a variety of ingredients guests can use to make their own gingerbread-like houses while they enjoy holiday music and refreshments. Advance sale tickets are $12 for the general public, and may be purchased at Tickets are also available at the door for $15per person. Museum members are asked to phone (315) 471-0593, extension 12, to register and receive the discounted admission price. The Gingerbread Build +Sip is for ages 21 and older.

Proceeds support the Museum's educational programs, exhibits, research, and community outreach.

The exhibit and the Museum are open until 9 p.m. Friday, November 29, with free cookies and cocoa starting at 5 p.m. and music by Merry Mischief after the tree-lighting ceremony in Clinton Square
