Summer Family Fun Day at the Richardson Bates House Museum

Games, Prizes, Entertainment & Ice Cream for modest fees.

Family Fun Day is all about old fashioned games like our grandparents used to play outside on the lawn on a summer day! Clothespin in the bottle, ring toss, beanbag toss, Pin the Tail on the Donkey, and more. Bring your children and grandchildren to experience a few hours of simple pleasure!

There are free family group games, like croquet and horsehoes.

The visual scavenger hunt inside the museum was very popular last year. Admission to the museum is free, but for $.50, you can get a bingo card of sketches of items you have to find in the period rooms. Find them all and you get a certificate and a prize!

Ice cream and toppings are served for only $1.00 and drinks are also available. Games $.25 each play, for prizes. Some games for free.

Used children's book sale. Free admission to the Richardson-Bates House Museum and $.50 visual scavenger hunt game for children and adults.
