Based on Lloyd Kaufman's cult film, this rollicking musical tells the story of Melvin Ferd the Third, who wants to clean up Tromaville, the most polluted town in New Jersey. Foiled by the mayor's bullies, Melvin is dumped into a vat of radioactive toxic waste, only to reemerge as The Toxic Avenger, New Jersey's first superhero.

At the helm for this production is Marguerite Beebe.  As one of the founders of Encore Presentations, Marguerite's directing talents have been featured in local productions as The Ash Girl, Songs for a New World, Last 5 Years, Plaza Suite along with many others in the area.  She is supported by Jessie Dobrynski - Assistant Director; Ben Borenstein - Musical Director; Stephfond Brunson - Choreographer and Michael Bolio - Band Leader.

Their considerable powers will join forces with these five intrepid performers:  Derek Potocki as Melvin Ferd/Toxic Avenger, Molly Russo as Sarah the Blind Librarian, Colleen Deitrich as Mayor Babs Belgoody, Donald Crowe as Dude 1 and Cole Salo as Dude 2, empowered to  introduce you to our new hero; out to save New Jersey, end global warming, and woo the blind librarian in town.
