INTRO TO POTTERY: THROWING FOR BEGINNERS
Ages 18+ / Beginners / Nichole Hess
Develop skill, dexterity, and coordination using the potter’s wheel as a tool of the ceramic-forming process. Students are introduced to hand-building and throwing techniques.

SALT FIRING WORKSHOPS

Salt firing is embraced by ceramic artists and potters because of the beautiful and unpredictable results that come from a salt-fired kiln.

This course covers various throwing techniques, functional design, and surface treatments through demonstrations and personalized instruction. Advanced students may pursue projects of their own choosing with instructional guidance.
