This 4-week course provides an introduction to cyber security: a brief history and review of basic concepts, national and international implications, legal factors and an examination of specific threats.

During the learning circle, a facilitator will present select materials from the online course, as well as lead discussions on the topics covered. Participants will be able to access the online course on their own time to further explore course materials.


  Week 1: Overview of Cyber Security Landscape - History and Basic Concepts
  Week 2: International and National Perspective - Cyber War and U.S. Department of Defense Strategies
  Week 3: The Legal Environment - Related Rules and Regulations
  Week 4: Threat Actors - Trends in Security Breaches

Registration required for all 4 weeks- Registering for 1 week registers you for all 4 weeks.
