The thirty-third annual Gingerbread Gallery to benefit the Erie Canal Museum opens at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 19 at the Museum, 318 Erie Boulevard East, Syracuse. This exhibit celebrates the Erie Canal with more than 30 original creations by amateur and professional bakers throughout the region. Proceeds support the Museum's educational programs, exhibits, research, and collections management. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors, $2 for children 12 and under, and free for Museum members. The Gallery and the Museum are open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m while the display is up. The Gallery and the Museum are open until 9:00 p.m. Friday, November 23, with free cookies and cocoa starting at 5:00 p.m. and live music after the tree-lighting ceremony in Clinton Square.
