Interested in pursuing computer programming as a full or part-time career, hobby, or would just like to learn more about it? This 3-week “learning circle” is ideal for beginners and covers the fundamental elements and syntax (specifically related to the Java programming language). Participants will learn through video and in-person instruction, as well as by working through hands-on exercises (laptops provided).

Topics:

  Week 1: Variables and Data Types – Learn the basics including the use of variables to store and retrieve information.
  Week 2: Control Flow and Conditionals – Use if-else and switch-case statements for decision making in your programs.
  Week 3: Functions and Loops – Discover how to group and repeat portions of your programs.

For adults.  Registration required for all 3 sessions.
Registering for one week registers you for all 3 weeks.
