ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Build off your already established foundational knowledge of American Sign Language and deepen your understanding of the rich history and culture of the American Deaf community in a supportive environment.

This will be led by local Deaf educator, Amy Robinson.


HOW TO APPLY

In order to create equitable opportunities for all, admittance into American Sign Language 1.5 will be determined based on pre-registration answers. Class size is limited.

Everyone interested is strongly encouraged to apply!

Pre-registration will be completed through a Google Form available on the library's virtual event's calendar HERE.

Pre-registration opens April 1, 2024.


WHEN DO THE CLASSES MEET

Every Tuesday from 6:00 - 7:00 PM starting May 14 through June 11 (5 classes in total) in the Friends Community Room.
